Biography

Julia Plattner holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the FH Campus Vienna and has worked as a consultant and social educator with refugees and children in Austria. In the last years she has coordinated a series of projects on supporting integration for young asylum seekers, establishing community gardens, as well as organising art and sustainability events, e.g. promoting SDGs in Austrian communities. Julia is currently finishing her Master´s studies in Social Ecology at the Alpen-Adria University Klagenfurt focusing on social farming. She enjoys nature, travelling, languages and working with people from different backgrounds.

Why do you work on the Climate Walk?
