If you visit our login page on the main website, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in to our main website, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. If you visit a shortened URL via our self-hosted link shortener service (e.g. sprint.climatewalk.eu/projectoverview) no personal data will be gathered and stored. We do only count the number of times a URL is clicked. This service is based on the open source software “Yourls” (www.yourls.org). We have adapted this application in such a way that it does not track the IP address of the visitors and in consequence not its location.
If you have registered yourself for one of our newsletters, we will store your email address, first and last name as well, a list of countries that you are specifically interrested in to receive updates about. This data will be used to send you regular messages about the Climate Walk. To prevent fake subscriptions we also store the IP address that you have subscribed from. This service is self-hosted by us and based on the open source software “phpList” (www.phplist.org). Besides links that have been shortened with our link shortener (see point above) we will not track your individual clicking behavior in our newsletters. It is only possible for us to see how often a specific link was clicked, but not by which subscriber. In addition we can see if you have opened a specific newsletter and when.
We use the project management software ClickUp to organize our project. This includes the management of our contacts, all project partners as well as the registration for events and the volunteer applications.
All data that we collect on ClickUp (type of data depends on the form it is entered) is stored under the privacy policies of ClickUp: https://clickup.com/privacy
